Pros

The senior leadership will never talk to you, even everyone in your team and the customers believe they are making bad decisions and wasting everyone's time, and even after it finally turned out that the engineers and the customers are right.

Cons

Senior leadership has no clear and doable plan for this year, next year, and the future. They have no communication with the engineers and no respect to the employees tasked with the actual work. They won't listen to the engineers, and instead, they built more hierarchical management layers, and distanced the engineers, so that the real issues in the projects won't be able to pass many layers to reach them. All of our projects were stuck with no real enhancements for years since they took our contract. All of our projects will likely be replaced or decommissioned when they lose the contract

Pros

This is a good company if you're looking for a first job. For entry level the salary was around $55,000 to $60,000. I really enjoyed it here in the beginning. There is room for promotions within the company if you learn new languages and take on new roles. Both the federal and contractors in my office were incredibly friendly and I made good connections. My contract was one of the best I could have landed on.

Cons

Depending on the contract's lifespan, it is difficult to get a promotion, which is the only way to get more than a 2% salary increase. Myself and others have had issues with HR. After a foreseen contract closure and termination, the representative dodged a lot of questions I and the other employees had. To be fair, this is a time of uncertainty (2025) for everyone and the company. However, they failed to communicate important PTO policy that affected us until it was too late. HR would also be hard to get a hold of, over email or phone.
