Pros
Pay is not role based and job is very secure. So all you have to do to progress in your career and take home a huge package is to just sit in your ass and gain experience.
Cons
Cheap manpower is preferred over better skilled manpower. When resources are cheap, there is more wastage and under utilization. Hard working and talented people will feel under employed.
