Pros
Flexible working hours and able to work from home when needed. Reference fee if you refer someone in. TG culture = fun and free activities.
Cons
Portrayed as a landscape hierarchy but differs per department. Some departments has 3-4 levels to pass through before you reach the executive team. This hinders productivity and communication when you want to get ideas across, ideas and thoughts don’t get the P&C and filtered because it is being discussed on personal level and eventually become water cooler talk. And of course, your career growth hits the ceiling in this structure. Is it really necessary to have that many levels in a small start-up? Selective transparency that would benefit the management. For example, the announcements of the people leaving and discontinuation of exit interviews. It seems like TG don’t value feedbacks for improvement? Details of employees referring potential candidates are not properly checked or never mattered. This leads to divided loyalty when friends/family members work for each other. Unknowingly, creating a bond of alliance or a farm of 'sacred cows'. Executive team can’t figure out where the politics and information leaks aka gossips are coming from. TG Culture is often being talked about but what is TG culture? In 2016, activities such as trampoline and bubble soccer are held but not everyone participates, turn up rate could be as low 15 people. It’s fun, it’s free but what is TG Culture?
