Pros
A well-known brand, although it feels like you must legally mention that on every phone call with a prospect
Cons
In my time at Trustpilot I have seen it transform from a buzzing, sales-driven business to a post IPO fun-vacuum. The staff that are still there are treading water waiting for a better opportunity and the new leadership brought in have no knowledge or interest in what made Trustpilot successful. A soul-less, face-less HR department have created a culture of fear whereby staff are actively avoiding socializing or engaging with each other through sheer panic of punishment. A bar has now been set where any minor indiscretion is treated like an International War Crime. We recently lost a huge chuck of the best-performing Sales Reps and Managers, everyone know feels that HR will treat you as 'guilty until proven guilty' which has led to a raft of resignations. The product is well-known, however there has been zero investment for some time now, so sales reps are basically selling the name for three times the price of the nearest competitors. Savvy prospects know that Trustpilot competitors can offer a better service for a fraction of the price.
