Pros

- The mission. Social media companies today are focused on time spent in app, their focus is not necessarily on the well being of their end user. At Twenty our mission is to help friends to make plans and hangout in real life. I fully believe in what we are doing; furthermore, I believe we have the right team and resources in place to accomplish it. - Team. Twenty puts a lot of energy into hiring the right people. Not just people that are extremely competent in their area but are passionate about the mission of the company. I think Twenty made a couple of hiring mistakes early on that weren’t necessary the best culture fits. The energy at the office is tangible in both the NY / SF offices. There is a genuine excitement and team comradely that is hard to find today. - Founders. Diesel and Mark are amongst of the most real, compassionate, and hard working people I’ve ever worked with. They are easy to approach are always asking “how can I help”. The thing I find most admirable about them is how passionate and determined they are to the mission.

Cons

Twenty is still young in the product lifecycle. This means there will be product uncertainty at times. The team has truly embraced this with attitudes like ‘no idea is a bad idea’, ‘you don’t need to ask for permission to fix something’ and ‘nothing is no ones problem’; however, if you are someone who enjoys a narrower focus, more layers of bureaucracy, and wants to check in check out, you may not be best suited at Twenty.
