It depends department by department but in my specific department, the co-workers are great.

Higher administration keeps on making changes without consulting the academic staff. Additionally, keeps on hiring people for non-revenue generating departments and yet won't hire more people for revenue-generating departments.
Also fired a bunch of people with no notice and also no contingency plan in place.
They made changes to the student advisors and hired people who are incompetent to manage the new student advisors. They always ask the same questions and are so lazy in trying to look up the information themselves. They also love to micro-manage and the lack of quality student advisors has really impacted enrollment in the courses.
I am one of the lucky few that were able to move up within the organization but that is not true for most people in this company. Most people stay in the same position for years.
