Accountant - Accountant Ultra Mobile Employee Review

This is the most empathetic team I have ever worked on. My in direct management at Ultra has been outstanding. HR and management both have been extremely good about working around my disability, and trying to find accommodation.

Some of the tech used for the infrastructure sucks (mostly due to atlassian products). The SRE on call rotation is really hard.

The company culture is excellent, with a supportive and friendly environment. The benefits and compensation are okay and competitive. Leadership has a clear vision for the company as a whole.

My direct supervisor lacked the necessary experience for a managerial role and was more suited to an individual contributor position. This created challenges with professional development and team guidance. My performance review was negatively impacted by an approved vacation, which felt unjustified and disconnected from my actual work performance. Projects were scarce, and there was a general lack of engaging, meaningful work. Business teams did not actively collaborate or engage with my team, which limited opportunities to contribute to key initiatives.
