Pros

The two best parts about this job were my colleagues and natural growth of the industry we were in. Valiantys sells services on Atlassian products, so it highly leverages and relies on the growth of Atlassian to spur Valiantys' business. Luckily this model is working quite well; Atlassian is growiing, therefore so is Valiantys. The other good thing about this company was the people that I worked with, who were from very diverse backgrounds and curious and ready to learn. This helped make the environment more enjoyable.

Cons

Bad management. Unfortunately, the company has a lot of potential but it is squashed by short-sighted management who let their ego and pride get in the way of sound business decisions and an enjoyable culture. Decisions are made at the drop of a hat without much foresight, employees are kept in the dark on pretty much everything and personal and professional development of employees is essentially nonexistent. Micromanaging is built into the culture here and achievements and success is not rewarded.
