    Pros

    - Flat, hierarchical organizational structure - Central location (when offices eventually reopen)

    Cons

    - Zero accountability: employees can remain at the company for a long time without contributing positively to the organization. Management never makes the decision to acknowledge and learn from their mistakes. - Complete lack of transparency: from decision-making, to change management, or financial matters (eg. bonuses and salaries), management always chooses to keep everyone in the dark and keep their cards close to their chest. - Unclear short, medium, and long-term goals: company goals and activities are either determined by short-termed panic or the whims of management. - Top-down approach to management: feedback from employees are hardly, if ever, considered, even when constructive. - Poor, toxic work culture: upper management has a tendency to lean heavily on a few favourite employees. The overall culture is very negative and detrimental to mental health and well-being. There is a constant expectation to work above and beyond without remuneration or (just as important) recognition. There is also a clear rift between the development team run by the CTO and everyone else. It strains credulity that a tech company has their development team preferring Skype chat to manage operational issues while everyone else communicates via Slack. - Unethical practices: management has a proclivity for unethical decision-making when it comes to certain aspects such as finances and remuneration. I will not go too much into detail on this. - Non-existent staff welfare: employees, regardless of how long they have been at the company, are shown out the door without so much as a goodbye. Management is prone to nitpick over the smallest expense items, such as transport allowances. Employees also leave with barely an exit interview because it seems like management views employees as expendable resources; more than a few employees have left after very brief stints at the company due to the toxic work culture that exists there.
