Pros
A major highlight of my time at Western Union was the people I worked alongside every day. My coworkers were genuinely supportive, collaborative, and made the workplace enjoyable.
Cons
Leadership at Western Union shows little concern for employees, especially under the current CEO and executive team. The company’s strict badge in/badge out policies, where badge reports are pulled and anyone not in the office three days per week is flagged regardless of circumstances, create an environment of micromanagement and distrust. Hotel desk sharing adds stress to the daily routine, making it difficult to find a suitable workspace. Talented people are leaving in high numbers, but leadership continues to ignore the impact on business and team morale. Overall, these management practices make Western Union a terrible place to work
