Pros
- Some amazing people - A lot of hard workers (that are misguided by leadership/management) - Snacks & lunch when in the office - Good health insurance plan - Ability to have a close relationship with leadership - Possible to learn a lot in a short amount of time, simply because tons of people wear tons of hats - Accrue sick time - Good holiday vacation time - Dogs allowed in the main office Overall, on paper - it seems like Wondros is great. However, in practice, they have a ton of work to do. There are a ton of great people there, but they have a long way to go. Refer to cons for that.
Cons
- Most people leading the accounts don't really know what they're doing. As a result, there is high turnover with accounts that are unhappy - Manipulative leadership and management - Most tenured people there have only really worked there. The others that have stayed there longer are now drinking the kool aid; do not know what they're doing, and as a result, all good people that know their worth and skills eventually leave. - Culture that fosters the idea that all managers should hold down their team's success, in order to make themselves look good - Do not care about your personal growth - Lack of communication manager level and above - Does not actually really care much about social justice, just cares about money - like any other company - Culture of distrust; leadership (top down) rule by deceit or power - Disrespectful management and leadership that, again, only cares about looking good to CEO or other leadership - All of management/leadership talks about each other behind their backs, which make teams feel insecure - True distrust of HR; nothing is confidential and HR is commonly discussed throughout the company as a joke Wondros has so much potential, but time and time again, they let you down. I would recommend that you do not waste your time here, unless you will be on the NIH account or the Commercial Division (which are both such a different experiences than Global).
