Zava Response
5yThank you for your review, we’re sorry you feel this way about your time at Zava. Feedback is really important to us so thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
It has been a difficult time for so many companies in recent months and, even though we are a healthcare company, we have also faced challenges whilst trying to weather this storm.
We did sadly have to undergo a restructure over the summer which was extremely upsetting and unfortunate for the entire company. The restructure resulted in 24 talented team members leaving the business as a result of redundancy. We were very sad to see them go, however we’re pleased to see that so many of those colleagues have already started new roles elsewhere. We’re also delighted to have been able to find suitable alternative roles within the company for some roles that were at risk of redundancy, for example our wonderful Barista, whom you mentioned in your review, is still with the business and is currently working to support our pharmacy team.
Whilst these past 6 months have seen an unprecedented amount of change and this has thrown a lot of things out of kilter, we’re now in a really positive chapter for the business with a great deal of work underway on refreshing our strategy and renewing our focus.
We care deeply about all of our teams at Zava and recognise how talented our people are and how hard they work, across all locales and all teams. We encourage diversity and we’ve built a team of curious people who think differently, who come from varying backgrounds, have different tastes, preferences and thoughts. They can be themselves, ask questions and challenge the norm.
We are proud to have a lot of employees from across Europe, and they form part of our workforce of 175 people - made up of more than 35 different nationalities from inside and outside of Europe.
