      Pros

      Amazing benefits and good pay.

      Cons

      Employees rotate on-call responsibilities weekly, this hinder planning events outside of work when the company is short employers within a service location. I mention this because I have shared on-call between only two employees many times throughout my time with the company.

      Great PTO and vacation benefits. Benefits overall were ok.

      Cons

      Employees have lost millions in ESOP value since stock prices have collapsed. Scared to see what the next valuation will be as FGP will be delisted by NYSE soon. Experience will vary by branch but expect to be pushed into hazardous situations with old equipment and questionable safety practices. Management used to train as a driver and progress up the ladder, now they are generally recruited fresh out of college with no propane background.

      Pros

      BENEFITS: Ferrellgas has really generous benefits for full-time employees. The company gives employees free money to help cover part of their benefits and they give employees $600/year in wellness credits. RETIREMENT: The Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is an amazing benefit. To have money put into my retirement account without any contribution of my own is truly making a difference in my future. The 401k match is above-average as well. PEOPLE: The people at Ferrellgas are really nice and even though it's a company of 4,000+, I've never felt like a number. I know that even our most senior leaders care about the people within this Company.

      Cons

      At the corporate office, it's hard to understand what goes on in the field. Likewise, I'm sure employees in the field don't understand what goes on here. That being said, our leaders openly share information with us about our business. I know that if I have questions, all that I have to do is ask.
