Pros

The people in my team were nice and always available to assist. Good benefits as well as staff rates for home loans, etc. Remote and hybrid working conditions for now. FNB takes the time to collect employee feedback and try to make changes.

Cons

I worked in FNB Investments and we had a lot of seniors and management leave within a short space of time. The new CIO has made the business unit a tough place to work at with confusing direction to management which trickles down to team members. The raises and bonuses have been smaller every year and the workload has not slowed down. Employee recognition and team building is non existent. Alot of the work fell on developers to carry as the systems analysts and devops engineers did not have enough knowledge to adequately do their job. Devops don’t even know how to look at bamboo logs properly to diagnose an issue which is basic.
