Doesn't promote from within, and if they do it's lateral movement with little to no pay bump. CEO isn't in touch with her employees, and decided to ignore her mission statement to focus only on "big-ticket" cases, rather than actually choosing cases where FG would make a real difference to people (i.e. deciding to stop taking certain medical malpractice cases as they don't net the company much money, even though those cases built our integrity and made attorneys want to choose us since we weren't typical hired guns). There are numerous meetings that resolve nothing, yet are mandatory and cause the entire place to shut down for hours; some meetings are forced TEDtalks that have little to do with either employee morale or actual work issues. The Client Services department is overworked constantly with pay that isn't commensurate to their abilities. Case Management is also overworked and paid little, but they also are the scapegoat of the office when anything goes slightly wrong. Recruitment is also blamed for Sales not being able to close deals, even though it's rarely their fault and due to Sales promising what cannot be delivered. CEO also hired young family: one that was ill-prepared to fill in HR's shoes, and one that was incapable of meeting any deadline to roll out new software for us (and yet wasn't reprimanded by management in any way).
