Pros

* Cool domains like air traffic management, public safety * Newest products are based on latest software technologies * Friendly environment at work * Good mix of experienced engineers and passionate juniors * Frequent visits to Vienna * Training opportunities in various areas * Enough parking places * Long term assignments on projects

Cons

* Average benefits package * Little known in the local market * Due to the nature of the domain, some projects have to adhere to slightly bureaucratic standards * Office location is not downtown but is close to the forrest (could be a "pro" for some people) * It takes a long time to master the domain * Difficult to rotate across positions, but not impossible

Company just lost major contract in its core business area

Pros

People are nice to work with inspite of difficult times and need to reorganize entire company focus

Cons

Pay is very low. Insurance deductible is very high especially for families. Company is forced to focus on bottom line because of major contract loss.

Working at Frequentis has been a nightmare. The company is plagued with micromanagement, racism, abuse of power, disrespect, lies, and corruption. The management team is obsessed with controlling every aspect of their employees' work and they do not trust their team to work autonomously. This creates an extremely stressful and toxic work environment. The issue of racism at Frequentis is rampant, and it affects both employees and customers. There is a clear lack of diversity and inclusion, and minority employees are constantly subjected to discriminatory behavior. The management team turns a blind eye to this, which only exacerbates the problem. Abuse of power is also a major issue at Frequentis. The management team uses their authority to intimidate and bully employees. They often play favorites and unfairly promote certain individuals, while others are left behind. This creates a culture of fear and resentment. Disrespect towards employees is another problem at Frequentis. The management team does not value their employees and treats them as disposable assets. This creates an environment where employees feel undervalued and unappreciated. Lies and corruption are also common at Frequentis. The company often makes promises that they do not keep, and employees are left feeling deceived. Additionally, there have been instances where the company has engaged in corrupt practices to gain an unfair advantage over competitors. In summary, Frequentis is a terrible company to work for. The company culture is toxic and rife with micromanagement, racism, abuse of power, disrespect, lies, and corruption. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
