      Pros

Obviously every bar is different to work at so I'll try and make this review as relevant to working at a Fullers pub generally. There can be a lot of flexibility when working at a Fullers pub, especially with hours. We got a lot of offers to work shifts at other nearby Fullers pubs if we wanted more hours and had a few temp workers at our pub for the same. Employee discounts are pretty good, we had a 35% discount in all Fullers pubs at one point which was great. Be warned though that the discount only works at pubs owned by Fullers, not ones who are just licensed by Fullers, I still don't know if there is any way to tell the difference other than asking at the bar. It varies from pub to pub but at the place I worked we were allowed to put service charge on all bookings and on any sizeable party who came for food, which meant a pretty decent portion of the salary was the shared tips.

      Cons

The managers bonus is based purely on profit yet as a bar staff your only bonus (tips) are based on the service you provide. There isn't much friction here as the manager obviously wants to provide the best possible service as well but it does mean you might get a manager who gets upset about minor stuff.

Thanks for the review of working with us here at Fuller's. As well as being able to use your discount at Fuller's you can use your Indulgence card at any Stable Pizza site. We are always looking at ways we can reward the team so lookout for further benefits appearing soon.

        Pros

Flexible hours on a part-time contract, friendly and approachable management

        Cons

Could be a better, more formal intra-pub communication system

During my interview with a Vice President, he mentioned that the "background check" had been reviewed. He brought up cities I had lived in at one point, even though I hadn't included that information on my resume or LinkedIn profile, though it is accurate. Additionally, he was aware of my entrepreneurship experience, which I had not disclosed anywhere. I'm curious about the source of this information. I'm currently progressing through the interview rounds without any offer or signed documents.

I’m moving on to round 3 of the interview process after speaking with the VP and it’ll be with peers. My position would be Insurance Product Manager so the peers would be internal stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Underwriting, Actuary, etc.) What kind of questions typically do peer interviews ask?

I have an interview tomorrow for a position as a Fundraiser Specialist for a company that raises funds for children. Any insight or advice to give? I do not have any experience working in fundraising but have worked in sales and have worked in childcare for several years. Thank you!
