      Inspiring colleagues and quality work

      Pros

      I have been with company for almost a decade and still very much feel inspired by my colleagues, the project work we deliver and clients we work with. While the broader shifts in the market, and growth of the company will undoubtedly continue to change how things operate, we work with people who genuinely care about each other and the quality of the work we deliver.

      Cons

      We have talented people looking to join us outside of the main hubs in the UK, or those with young families who have recently moved out of London, it may be time to offer remote-first contracts.

      Collaborative culture with evolving structures and processes

      Gate One India offers a genuinely collaborative and entrepreneurial consulting environment. The firm provides early responsibility, strong exposure to senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to shape work rather than simply execute predefined playbooks. Leadership is accessible and open to ideas, which creates space for consultants to grow faster than in more hierarchical organisations. The quality of work is strong, with a clear focus on transformation, change, AI and value realisation rather than pure strategy decks. There is meaningful client exposure across programmes, allowing consultants to build both delivery depth and advisory capability. The culture is supportive, people-centric, and grounded in mutual respect, which makes day-to-day work engaging and motivating. Overall, a strong place to build a consulting career, particularly for those who value ownership, learning, and impact over bureaucracy. Best suited for people who are comfortable with change, enjoy problem-solving, and want to grow alongside a scaling consulting practice.

      As a growing consulting practice, some processes and structures are still evolving. This can occasionally mean ambiguity in roles or ways of working, especially for those who prefer very rigid frameworks and clearly defined boundaries from day one.

You’re right to highlight that as a new region, Gate One India is still evolving and some processes and structures contain ambiguity – while this may be fine for some people, we recognise the importance of continuing to provide greater clarity and consistency as we grow (which we continue to do at pace in Bengaluru).
