I worked at General Motors (GM) full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Managements are willing to share some information with all working levels. Flexible working environment. Focus on work and outcome and not the duration spend on work. Good place to learn and grow as managers are willing to train and share.

    Cons

Too many politics within the organization among senior leaders. Finance runs the business which causes a lot of business ideas to live a short live as no perseverance to see it through. Lots of resources wasted. Very myopic when it comes to handling Asia Pacific markets. Strategies, planning and support were bad from US side. Pretending to be specialist of the regions but don't know the know how of how to penetrate the markets in APJ.
