HR does not exist. Old boys network. You have a double dipping COO/Assistant Commissioner but yet they are cutting budgets by laying off employees.

Doesn't RecommendNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
I liked the people I worked with and I liked my job.
Cons
If you're in a position and get promoted to a new position, the most you are allowed to receive in compensation is a 5-10 percent raise. There are soooo many people that have been with the state for 10, 15, 20 years or more and a new person will get hired doing the same exact job making $10,000 more per year than you are after being there for so many years! Screwed up system! Can't get ahead and they don't give you a raise on merit, EVERYBODY gets the same 1 percent or 2 percent raise each year...IF they decide to give a raise that year. Don't do it - not worth it in the long run!
