i got hired without an interview, i got paid well, and the people are kind in engineering. also, its gillette, the largest shaving company in the world and the have the resources to match.
Cons
however because of HR classifiactions with contractors, i cannot seek a permanent position after my contract ends. even though we found a position for me, because i didnt apply to P&G right after college, i cannot be a permanent employee
Excellent pay, great culture and highly competent people. It was a great place to work especially in HR. They really valued people, had great products and market share.
Cons
Really changed after the P&G takeover. Became too bureaucratic. Very slow to market with new products. Many decisions are made by large slow moving committees.
market leader, great people, established brand with excellent market reputation. Used to be one of the best coveted international jobs, (especially in marketing). Exciting sponsorships, (world cup etc )and great network throughout the world
Cons
bought by P&G and went downhill, they only think about profit and absolutely nothing else. They are not interested in relationships and history
