Pros
People are really nice in Goldman. They mean it when they preach about the collaborative culture. Managers are super capable and dependable for escalations.
Cons
The higher you rise, the more tiring it is. While all my managers are super capable, the workload is not sustainable, considering Ops pay - that's why a lot of graduate hires leave at the Associate level for better pay and less work. Mgmt is not transparent at all about restructuring and you get bombed out of the blue with changes in mgmt.

- Engineering/BI folks still largely seen/treated as “helpdesk” by middle/front office and are talked down to by some - In Sg, there are undertones of cronyism and favoritism flowing from the top , a known issue which is swept under the rug and largely disregarded
