    Pros

Very flexible hours as a food delivery rider. Very little to no communication between jobs, could be a help plus if you are an introvert

    Cons

The pay is ridiculous low given its current inflation situation in Singapore. No promotion and benefits.

Conclusion after more than 2 years with Grab!

    Pros

Time flexibility but it’s basically an hourly paid job more than paid assignment as they are in control of assignments

    Cons

Everything is under their control to ensure riders are at optimum level throughout day & night. ‘Squeeze every drop’ from riders if you are going for their incentives. It’s basically an hourly rate job! It’s not about how fast one delivers but how long one can work. They use cash payment as one ‘dirty trick’ to stretch working hour so that one needs to work extra job to fulfill the minimum $50 bank transfer Prior to last 1-2 jobs when one is about to hit target, chances are they allocate a super long distance task that’s away from your home If one cancelled these jobs, your acceptance rate shoot up which may disqualified for incentives or needs to work extra time or tasks to make it up Basically, no authority is monitoring them or their system that could be manipulated or exploit at riders expense The system simply control when, where, how to allocate jobs to maximise riders working hours & earnings It’s never based on consumers demand. The carrot is always there to push riders. Don’t be stupid to ride faster thinking one will get more jobs! They will never allow riders to make enough to call a day off early otherwise no riders are available to serve Tech companies are just another business about profits Personally, I don’t trust any Texh companies!
