Training is terrible. Our GM is very rude, someone will get yelled at like 3 times a shift. You'll be overworked if you're in any kind of support position, while making terrible pay. Beginning rate is 10$ an hour for a host, after a few months they might bump you up to 12. After that raises are non-existant. With tipshare you might make around an extra ~3 an hour. It's difficult to advance because they'll want to keep you in the same position rather than hire new people.
For servers they want to keep sections small around 4 to 5 tables. They keep introducing more and more jobs for hosts. You're bussing tables, greeting people, running food, running drinks, cleaning bathrooms, wiping and rolling silverware, running expo, selling the fresh catch and fresh veg, helping behind the bar. And all of this is expected at 10$ an hour when most of the hosts are 16.
