Even negative experiences can be chocked up to "learning." But it's a rough lesson.

Double standards, hidden agendas, burning customers at every opportunity.

Made a few friends out of some great co workers

“Other duties as assigned” has a different meaning here than other maintenance in other industries. I spent most of my time performing unskilled job duties that should be production/operator responsibilities

We are a family owned business who values our employees and we reward all employees for their achievements and have several reward programs in place. Our highest priority is taking care of our employees and promoting from within. If not for our employees we would not have gotten to where we are. We value each team member and appreciate how your role impacts our customers. Fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, initiative and good old fashioned hard work, we hire people who are passionate about doing the right thing. With only having one shift of production a day and two shifts of maintenance our maintenance technicians do stay busy and a workday can often go by quickly. Additionally, our HR department has an open door policy and we encourage all employees to give us a call with any questions, concerns or issues. We provide all employees with monthly training including safety, harassment and bullying, which encourages all employees to report any concerns, issues or abuse.

Manager over mechanics becomes irritated as he is overwhelmed with his lack of knowledge in the new equipment. Average new mechanics may stay 1 to 2 weeks,.

I am sorry your experience with HandCraft did not meet your expectations. We have Standard Operating Procedures for each piece of equipment in the plants. There are written policies and procedures that are in our company handbook for all situations. All employees including upper management is trained on how to handle each situation. Our management team is top notch and has been with us for many years. Most moved to the area when the plant was opened and came from our plants in Richmond with years of experience. Over the years we have built a wonderful team. We value each team member and appreciate how your role impacts our customers. Fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, initiative, and good old fashioned hard work, we hire people who are passionate about doing the right thing. Our growth is a good indicator of this. Additionally, Our HR department has an open-door policy, and we encourage all employees to give us a call with any questions, concerns or issues. We provide all employees with monthly training including safety, harassment, and bullying, which encourages employees to report any concerns, issues, or abuse.
