Hatch, a startup with low-ambitions and no company values, is driven by mediocrity. Vision, mission and company plans were not articulated clearly and it often felt that no one was aware of what those actually were. A number of employees demonstrated unprofessional behavior during several internal meetings. No training or evaluation/career development plans established with/for employees. Company-wide "engagement" survey or similar initiative to collect sentiment was non-existent. Limited efforts from direct manager to act upon my feedback and breaking an established role-specific agreement related to compensation with no explanation provided.
