Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at HealthTap full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Friendly team, daily lunch and food provided, room to grow.
Cons
Horrific/abusive leadership. Get rid of them if you want the company to succeed. Dozens of employees have complained to the board, yet they are still in charge in 2020?

Pros
Lot of learning opportunities Dog friendly Great insurance plan
Cons
Company is in financial trouble. Most people believe that layoffs are coming soon. No pay raise, no bonus Company doesn’t have a good culture. Managers bully engineers Company exploits employees who are on H1 visa by delaying their green card process, thus making employees stick with the company on low wages

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at HealthTap full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Good mission, a lot of smart engineers when I first joined
Cons
NO promotion, Underpaid, a lot of extremely bad engineers and PMs that only make things worse, HR determined not responding your emails or calls after you leave, so you cannot get your work history or purchasing stock options. Don't be fooled by the reviews that the new management is doing any good, old and new management teams are just equally bad. Turnover rate is still as high.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at HealthTap for more than a year
Pros
Was built on a wonderful premise. Friendly coworkers. The product helps people.
Cons
Since the founding CEO has left, new management steered this company in one soulless direction. No alignment with departments.

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at HealthTap full-time for more than 8 years
Pros
Mission to help the world AND enable people to live longer, healthier, happier lives Knowing that your work is directly helping millions. Great work environment in the heart of silicon valley Perks that make your life easier at work Culture of caring Healthcare is hard. Under new management, you'll have greater responsibility to "figure it out" and make a contribution
Cons
It's less intense than when we started, but it's still true that you don't change the world working 10am to 3pm. Healthcare is hard. Under new management, you'll have greater responsibility to "figure it out" and make a contribution (if this is a con, you're not a fit for the company)

RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at HealthTap for less than a year
Pros
Everyone you meet (at least currently) is amazing to interact with. I didn't realize how scarred I was from past jobs until I met all of the people here. Everyone is genuinely interested in helping you, doing their jobs well, & making a difference in the lives of their customers. The office locations each have different appeals. While I think the SF office is gorgeous, you can't beat the location fo the PA office. I feel like I'm contributing a lot and learning a lot. Some contracts you don't feel very productive at first or like you're a part of the team. Not here. There are plenty of drinks & snacks, lunch is provided, and there are numerous celebrations. Some places seem to force you to spend time together after work hours but HealthTap seems to work in good times during the workday without sacrificing productivity.
Cons
Growing pains are always hard. There is definitely a lot of reorganization going on in leadership including HR/hiring, finance, etc. That can get frustrating when you aren't sure who to go to for answers. But better to have growing pains than a crappy leadership team! I'm happy to be a part of the growth.
