Pros

I like the flexibility and the fact the amount of money you make is in your hands. Training initially is bare minimal, however, the continued training is amazing and available multiple times a week, live. I feel more connected to this workplace as far as a teamwork setting due to the weekly newsletters than I did in actual hotels. It's also 24/7 so that never hurts.

Cons

The only con is the actual system. There's errors nonstop. There's incorrect hotel information very frequently. I've learned to just google the hotel information for valid information. The technology part needs a major upgrade. I wish we could transfer to group sales or customer service but we cannot transfer and have to give a 1800#. The room types will never match up. You have to do a lot of research quickly on the side to code these room types from the hotel's website. Ex: hotel will have veranda suite, junior suite, king balcony. Our system will have king bed, king bed, king bed balcony. When you do have a higher paying guest, it's a bit of an inconvenience. Only other con is that a guest cannot call you or email you back. You'll spend time getting a guest the room option at a hotel they'd like and can see the commission you'll make, but they'll need to grab husband's or bosses card or something/confirm with principal for a sporting group rate and call you right back and want you and only you because you've done all this rapport with them but you sadly just have to have them call back to any random worker and that worker will receive your hard earned commission. That part blows.

Pros

It’s a good company to grow when working at home. Trainings is pretty good and they give you a script. You can also work when you want, that’s the good part about it

Cons

The pay can be very little and some days you go without taking calls.

Pros

Managers seem to care about employees. You can work 1 hour a day or all 24 you can work every day or 1 day a week, biggest benefit of working here. But I wouldn't count on this position being full time income more like extra money at the end of the month.

Cons

Training could be way better. It isn't a hard job but I think I had two days of training which was one sided more like a presentation and then we listened to some current employees taking a few calls. Two days not really being able to ask questions other then in the chat and then boom they were like here is your log in your ready to go. Like I said job isn't hard but I don't think I was fully prepared to start working after two days. Also biggest con is the pay. It really is a joke there was 5 days I was only for most of the day. I was never able to break $10 a hour and it wasn't because I wasn't getting sales I was but they clients are cheap. If you don't give them the cheapest possible room you dont get nothing for your time because it is a solely commission position. For the small hotels and motels maybe you get $2-$3 for the bigger names maybe $20-$40 but I think my whole time with them I got maybe 2 of those. Another thing is the group rate. They say you get commission for the group rate but its fixed. So doesn't matter if you book 10 rooms for a small party or enough rooms for 300 people you get the same "finders fee".
