I was one of the fresh MBA batch hired by IDFC. We were exposed to many different business verticals through postings in each vertical for a few months. Towards the end of the rotation the economy went bad and we were left in lurch. Basically we were told that we are free to leave the company. Till then we can just hang out in which ever division we were last working. So we had a dead end job, while we saw the company hiring people from outside! IDFC's horrible treatment of our batch of MBAs was public knowledge in and outside the company---from CEO down to all the managers, and among all the peer companies. Still nobody did anything to help us. To add salt to injury we were told that the company cannot do anything for us--sorry. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!!!!!

Immediately after a year from launch the chaos started with top management infighting. Each year would end up with restructuring the units and even after the merger with Capital First the bank is still looking much clueless . There is no concrete plan to handle customer’s and employees of erstwhile IDFC are left with a lurch . Too much of focus on dress code and not into work structuring . The management will lose good productive employees in the bargain if they don’t get their act together soon.
