Pros

This is a large company with many of the perks that you would expect to find at a company of this size. It has a very relaxed pace and there is very little pressure to perform.

Cons

This is a old-school company that is attempting to change their core business and having a lot of growing pains. I found most of the employees I dealt with unqualified for their positions and threatened by any new changes. Additionally, the existing processes in place don't support the change that management is attempting and add unnecessary obstacles. A very frustrating and stressful place for a newcomer.

One bad move

Pros

Great benefits, some good people, good pay. The company tried to improve but the dysfunction is so deep their efforts were in vane. Direct Managers wanted to improve - and really went out on a limb when issues presented. However, the process stopped there.

Cons

Horrible management, total dysfunction, incredibly frustrating. Unclear expectations, bonus goals drove annual plans, and created unrealistic expectations for employees. No communication within departments. No support system. Lots of negativity. Promotions of people who were not qualified. No training. No support. Lots of hires and layoffs.
