Pros

Pay and benefits are good. Team members made it tolerable

Cons

Leadership has no idea what they're doing, regularly ignoring the issues of the employees and making decisions that made them look good for the board. The lack of direction makes it impossible to know what our role actually is, while other departments have no idea what we even do at the company. The lack of empathy from leadership when it came to layoffs was the most embarrassing moment I've ever seen in any companies history. It became impossible to trust their judgement and felt like vision and values went out the window. They essentially took the money from funding, threw it into sales, glorified them, then laid most of them off within a year. Culture went to feeling corporate and siloed and 0 collaboration was happening between departments.

Pros

Worked with incredible talent that were simply cut far too short - because many are professionals who understand enterprise level strategy and product vision. Many have been cut loose because they had talent that was far above where this organisation was failing to position their place in customer intelligence and still operate as a point solutions selling organisation. Enablement was best in class before that team was cut. An incredible Ops and Alliances team that had some of the best in the business - all cut. HR, while small - did their best to handle the frustrations and concerns and tried to mitigate al lot of the fears. Other than that, salary was just below market and unlimited PTO was nice - but saw some abuse here as well from people taking a lot of time off leaving others trying to sport out where to go for collaboration.

Cons

Let this sink in for a minute: In 2 years, 3-4 rounds of layoffs taking +/- 450 employees to down to about 200 people left. Again - Think about that for a minute if you even have a misguided concept that Introhive could be a great start or a positive change for you or your career. Reach out to anyone on LinkedIn who was at Introhive to get a true perspective of their experience. Too many seriously talented people who's jobs were cut to keep the company "profitable" or "cash positive". And so it goes on...missed another revenue target - so lets have another round of cuts to stay in business but tell everyone that business is "healthy." Imagine having a personal financial advisor lead you like this with your own investments. Leadership - Revolving door of leadership that many years ago may have had some impact on legacy technology - many are all connected from a prior organisation. Never felt that any of the new leadership has true strategy for 2024 or beyond and left a lot of the remaining employees feeling very unsettled. Culture - Employee Surveys are a disposable motion where no action is ever created or supported by leadership on the feedback that is given. Never felt that was a culture in the 3-4 years I was there. Someone tried to come up with attributes, or words written on paper just by a few leaders that never went anywhere and I really felt horrible for new employees who joined only to learn culture and values were designed in such a way and never supported or held accountable by leading by example. There is also a significant diversity issue at this organisation that has yet to be taken seriously. Product - Look back at prior reviews on Glassdoor. It's telling...no true innovation. Dashboards was the biggest innovation to date - welcome to 2010, Introhive. Messaging is very confusing to customers as well as the market. But let's cut more staff to cover this gap. Sales - this team is the front line for driving revenue for the company and they struggle to find talent that can look past the major shortfalls of sales leadership. Sales had the best enablement and support that you would find in 2022. Especially when compared to any mid-large Saas organizations, but continued to miss targets and some sales people refusing to "change" with new enablement - therefore never able to sell at an enterprise level. Nevertheless, lets continue to cut more staff to cover the broken sales organization.

Pros

Good work/life balance. Good health insurance.

Cons

Highly disorganized. Salary expectations based on low paid Canadian employees. Do not keep promises regarding bonuses. Focused on short-term gains at all costs. Many non-Sales jobs are treated like Sales. Appalling lack of diversity and lack of female leadership (I think there is 1 VP in total and she was recently promoted). "Man-splaining" is common. Ridiculously low-level decisions must be approved by the president.
