Pros

Good perks, free beer, free soda, free food, good team atmosphere, decent pay, good leadership

Cons

They outsource their HR and it's a mess. Will fire you at the blink of an eye. Lack of policies and procedures for a lot of things, including disciplinary action.

Pros

* Fantastic workmates, some really great minds here. (I should've seen the trend when they started pushing out and ignoring some of those minds though, as well as some of those minds leaving voluntarily. ) * Great idea / overall goal * Good benefits (medical / dental / vision)

Cons

Company culture has gone dramatically downhill in the last couple of years, it used to be 'work hard play hard', now its either 'work hard, dont play' or 'work nothing, we dont care because yours isnt a highly scrutinized / visible job'. They've pushed out some of the best minds at the company -- alternative approaches and generally any sort of dissent (healthy, not subversive) is ruthlessly cut out and vilified. Leadership consistently misrepresents what's going on and how well the company is doing Leadership promises outlandish and crazy things Leadership constantly lies about promises made and says they weren't made The focus / path of company product also changes very frequently, making pretty much everyone except the people 'in the know' ineffective -- you're stuck building or developing something that may be outdated Reward / Bonus structure is wholly inconsistent across the company. Distinct lack of communication from the top in regards to the focus / goals of the company at any given time. Huge loss of money overall to multiple failed half-implemented strategies. Instead of building something and marketing it, leadership has largely half-built things and then stops building on those depending on where the next check comes from. Product Management flails because Leadership gives them almost zero clear direction. There's almost zero though given to altering / addressing core issues rather then addressing pretty much everything as surface-level personality conflicts.

Pros

The people who work there are great. Its a fun atmosphere with nerf guns, hover boards, free snacks. The technology is exciting and innovative.

Cons

The workplace can be immature at times. I left on my own, but one huge negative that influenced my decision to leave was that management is very quick to hire and fire people. Upper management claims to coach people before letting them go, but they actually do not. They regularly blindside people leaving the remaining employees scratching their heads. Some managers can be vindictive to those they may not like. This didn't bother me, but fair warning, the office is not g or even pg rated. Regular f bombs are dropped by co workers all the way up to the ceo. If this bothers you, you might want to seek employment elsewhere.
