State of the art, but boring in the long run
13 Apr 2021 - Cyber Security Incident Response and Attack Analyst in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
good salary great benefits (27 days vacation, amazing pension plan) most people around are great. You will get your hand dirty with an unbelievable amount of tools. Think about a technology, it is there in use. When you are done for the day you are really done.
Cons
US centric company, meaning cool projects are done mainly in the US and other regions gets the boring leftovers. Internal reorg wanted people to focus on some areas, which means it gets more repetitive. Not tiered monitoring model, which means even after years you will be due to work "shift weeks" which are very stressful and repetitive, especially during hiring freezes where workload is essentially double. Requires to answer the phone (call center like) from internal employees that want to report security issues. It is going to take long time to progress internally. I would personally recommend this role to someone not very senior to get more experience, or if you get the Senior role which does not require the monthly shift work. Management does not say anything about people working more hours than they should, and this is actually appreciated rather than discouraged.

Pros
Great benefits, 401K ,vacation time, health insurance.
Cons
Very stressful environment. Coaching given is more to get a write-up than coaching. Performance goals are crazy. My vehicle was stolen from the parking lot and security was not willing to cooperate in providing any video or information from outside cameras. Company basically said that because Security company was a third party they couldn't really do anything about their non-willingness to help. I guess the video cameras are only for show. On weekends there was always people loitering in the parking lot.

Good programme if your career path is unclear, not good for a stepping stone into Front Office
12 Aug 2021 - Corporate Analyst Development Program in Bournemouth, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great Culture / Team Great benefits Lots of "extra-curricular" societies to get involved in Good diversity across the board (one of the best I've seen for gender)
Cons
Overall the firm is good, but this particular programme is extremely strict. If you are interested in learning about various back office support teams then this would be a good role, if you are more ambitious and want to use it as an "in" to front office, then this is a less attractive option. Most common step-up is going into a trade assistant role, then move onto a desk

Pros
Great benefits. Had an amazing healthcare plan and rate as well as a generous vacation plan.
Cons
The pay. What you get in benefits, will certainly come out of your pay unless you are at a VP level or higher.

Pros
Great benefits, great vision of what a huge company can be.
Cons
Too big. No recourse if you get stuck with a bad manager/supervisor. HR not helpful.

There are pros AND cons in working here
28 Sept 2021 - Senior Executive AssistantRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great benefits. Flexible working arrangements if needed.
Cons
Depending on the group you work for in Cyber, passive aggressiveness may have a place in your day to day existence.

Pros
- diversity initiatives make you feel safe and included. - well compensated with great benefits. - plenty of opportunity for internal career movement - always an opportunity to learn something new
Cons
- corporate culture can sometimes feel too serious - dependant on role you are expected to work beyond the 9-5 - global scale of the company means there can be a lot of red tape in making processes/ functions better.
