    Great place to learn!

    Pros

This is a great place to learn. It is an intense job but they warn you on that, but you learn everything here! If you want to take a client that needs help in a financial situation and that interests you, you can go for it. If you want something crazy to be able to tell your friends when it goes public, they have that too! You learn the ins and outs of communications and media here.

    Cons

A better work/life balance. Although it is mentioned that this is an intense job with long hours, sometimes it does get too much. I think there should be incentives like more personal days or a day off after a long week (or two or three) of working.

Great exposure and opportunity to grow

    Pros

Great atmosphere with amazing opportunities to work with many different industries. Lots of room for growth, great people, interesting work, never the same day.

    Cons

Hours can be tough, but you should expect that already with this type of industry. However, there are big teams so you can always have coverage if you need it.

    Crucial Work Experience

    Pros

An amazing culture for learning and growth Colleagues across the management chain ready to help with anything Great salary and benefits

    Cons

Work/Life balance is a little iffy - but staying on top of your work and proactively communicating with colleagues will allow you to get needed personal time. Not a con - but something to be aware of: You have to be focused and ready from day one. If you are unsure, ASK QUESTIONS! Do not be caught out because you may be nervous.

JF - good pay, repetitive work

    Pros

Great pay, high-profile work, prestigious firm.

    Cons

Repetitive work (often use the same template for multiple announcements, no real creativity); long hours, working weekends (in 2 years there were only a handful of weekends I wasn't working); the Partners are super-protective of speaking to/handling clients. Anyone below Partner has limited client interaction on the phone/in person (the juniors send the bulk of approved materials to clients though); high-pressure work, often with Partners breathing down your neck.
