Pros

Excellent benefits, average pay, vacation time, sick time, personal holidays. Depending on who is your boss, they tend to be relaxed with time and letting you leave early or come in late if you need to adjust your schedule for a personal matter.

Cons

The position you are hired in at is usually the one you will hold the rest of your career at the KCATA. They tend to play favoritism towards certain employees. To be specific more males versus females are promoted as well as receive a higher salary.

Great way to learn your city, meet new people, decent benefits.

Cons

No lunch breaks, irregular hours, management doesn’t care, unsafe, terrible attendance policy, no leave approval until 5p.m. The day before you request off, extremely stressful working conditions, poorly maintained equipment, no weekends or holidays off for years, no empathy or compassion from management, almost impossible to use sick time, rules change consistently, workers are mistreated and unappreciated.
