Pros
Work with people very important in the industry, some parts of the job like script coverage or providing help in casting I found interesting, fun and enjoyable. Gain valuable experience in a high pressure environment.
Cons
I had to do things like dropping off the producer's laundry or meeting repairmen. Generally interns are treated somewhat poorly. You have to take the brunt of angry industry people yelling at you on the phone for things that aren't in your control, like a producer having stepped out of the office, etc. This internship actually made me decide I didn't want to work in the film industry, but in a way I guess that's good.
