Pros

Working from home was nice.

Cons

My two managers were incompetent bullies. Their manager protected them, and HR protected all of them. Outstanding facilitators who management wanted to get rid of were beaten down until they quit. The two managers who are bullies are two of the worst facilitators I’ve ever encountered. They are both arrogant and incompetent, a bad combination. I was with the company and tried to move up and away from them but either never got internal interviews or did get interviews but was never offered a position. I interviewed for four positions but wasn’t offered any of them. Meetings are a complete waste of time and questions and suggestions will get you targeted for more bullying. Management made up lies. If managers find you to be the least bit intimidating or more knowledgeable than them, they will target you. They do whatever they need to do to get rid of you. If you like to brown nose, you’ll do just fine here. HR, please don’t respond with one of your phony responses. Four PLF’s left the company in about a month’s time because of disrespect and bullying from managers. You know about it. Their managers know about it, but you all continue to protect them while good people leave. I wrote all of this on my exit interview, and no one batted an eye or responded to me. Stay away from Lexia if you hope to be in a position where you are valued and respected.

Although we were disappointed to read about your experience working at Lexia, we do value your feedback and take the issues you raise very seriously, especially those around bullying. This behavior is unacceptable in any work environment and is not aligned with our vision, values, and purpose. Please know that feedback from an exit interview is shared with our executive leadership and they take appropriate action to address issues so we can improve employee experience going forward. We invite you to email us at hr@cambiumlearning.com if you’d like to share any additional feedback that can help as we continue to build and refine an inclusive culture.

Pros

Working from home and PTO

Cons

Lexia has taking a horrible turn with numerous waves of layoffs the past few years. This year they just terminated close to 70 positions with no rhyme or reason. We received new territories and took a salary and commission decrease, not just for 2026, but also for 2027! The new management is clueless and has terminated amazing sales and management positions. Current colleagues are leaving left and right and very few people are saying positive things about this toxic management style. Lexia is clearly in financial trouble and has lost sight of the companies philosophy or mission.
