"Good work culture, needs to invest in technology"
I worked at LoyaltyOne full-time for more than a year
Pros
coworkers are friendly, work life balance is great
Cons
tech stack needs a lot of improvement, there's too much manual work for things that can be automated

RecommendsNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at LoyaltyOne full-time for less than a year
Pros
Most of the 1 star reviews seem extreme to me, your experience will really depend on the team you are working on. I expect that large wave of negative reviews comes from laid off employees after recent corporate restructuring. -Nice office environment with standing desks and dual monitors -Free snacks and other perks -Good work life balance and most teams are flexible with remote work -Corporate travel discount -Earn 4 weeks vacation after 5 years tenure, fast for a private sector company
Cons
-Incompetent managers on some teams -VPs sometimes unwilling to let go of long-tenured managers and shield them from criticism despite their lack of results -Business is still on the path to recovery after hit from the 2016 expiration scandal -Uncertainty in future of the business as it is widely suspected that the US parent company is looking to sell LoyaltyOne. Hence the recent restructuring and cost cutting

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at LoyaltyOne full-time
Pros
Good facilities. Good work/life balance
Cons
Mass exodus happening - not a lot of good and qualified people left. A lot of leadership positions were filled by promoting people whom are not qualified for the roles. Those who sat on the same leadership roles for 10+ Years should be let go because there’s a reason why they are stuck doing the same job and not able to move.

Pros
Beautiful facility Good vacation policy and work-life balance Subsidized cafeteria

Turbulent times - business is going through a major re-org. Parent company is looking to sell the company so the focus has shifted from building long-term value to short-term fixes. Definitely not a good time to join the company.

Neutral OutlookI have been working at LoyaltyOne full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Great work/life balance, friendly people and wonderful office space.
Cons
Future of the company is rocky at best. Major shake-ups at the Executive level which can either be perceived as a company ready to change and evolve or a company that will slowly be sold off piece by piece.
