Pros

Great technology and this company does a lot for those in need via charity, medical planning etc. A lot of very friendly employees that are easy to get along with. It is a team atmosphere for the most part and people below management get along well.

Cons

Management is awful starting from the top down. Everyone is always under a microscope and micro management is insane. If you like doing more marketing things than sales if you like to get nit picked and asked to do meaningless tasks that take away from your sales time or to do the same tasks over and over because doing it just once isn’t enough then by all means sign up. Pay is terrible you have a huge target and the commission is only about 1%. It is obvious this company only really cares about managements pay and the share holders (going public is what started this downhill slide within). Sure they do some get together and celebrations here and there but the real reward would be receiving competitive pay and maybe some incentive packages. Also it’s really not worth much to push sales above and beyond as even that payout is only around .5 percent. You are much better off just hitting each Q as you go. All and all this is a great place to start a career but don’t stick around long or will notice with the way they keep changing the commission plans your W2 will go down each year while your sales target and stress continue to go up.

Pros

Good experience Understands that family comes first (sometimes)

Cons

Noncompetitive pay, which has created a talent vacuum with a huge turnover rate. They ask everyone to keep their wages a secret because if everyone knew of the rampant wage inequality that goes on there half the people would quit. The fact that poorly paid hourly production staff are looked down on by the almost as poorly paid salaried sales and engineering types doesn't help. Very hard to actually get things done. Seemingly minor tasks take a thousand times longer due to everything having to be run through Belgium. Lots of promises of advancement, pay increases, etc that never materialize (pun intended). Poorly trained inexperienced production staff(due to high turnover), especially considering the high tech (expensive) nature of 3d-printing. Be prepared to figure everything out on your own.... Constant nagging for improvement by out of touch management although processes and equipment are inefficient and orders are consistently low. I was told to get my job done faster so I could then be the janitor and mop the floors and dust.... Company buys used, cheap equipment and machines that cause headaches and delays. Out of touch management at all levels. They try and make nice with the employees with a boxed lunch every once and awhile but thats as good of a gesture you're ever going to get out of this company. Gossip is rampant among the small staff. Late hours and weekends(somehow with little actual overtime) due to everyone figuring things out as they go along......... Will keep you on as a contract employee as long as possible in order to get all of the work from you with zero of the benefits from them.

Pros

It is an incubator for those who are looking for a "safe job". You learn to be independent. Colleagues are good and close to each other.

Cons

No career progression. It is also an incubator for non-performers. Salary is a huge disappointment every single year no matter how good you perform. Don't talk about salary. Its a known fact that they dont pay well unless you are buddies with certain people. There is just no structure to critical business decisions or directions.
