Pros

Free food in the kitchen, office very close to Dundrum shopping centre, some great social nights organised.

Cons

Very poor management from top to bottom, to my knowledge, most of the managers there did not hold any type of a management qualification and it was quite evident. Very poor communication, you didn't know if you were ever doing a good job and you certainly didn't know you were doing a bad job until it was too late. I personally took on extra work during my time there to help meet tight deadlines and was never shown any gratitude. You were expected to stay past working hours and never given any appreciation, instead you got the cold shoulder if you left at the time you were contracted to. Given the type of work that it was, it should have been very straight forward to convey objectives and have formal training, but even this was lacking. No incentives either to progress your career there, no pathways to achieving further qualifications, during my period here the staff turnover was huge given the office size (over 8 people left) which should have been a sign to management. I would absolutely not recommend Medserv to a friend, if you are looking for a career based in this area you are better off working directly under a consultant or in a hospital.

Pros

Hard pushed but: Home time bell was always a plus! The toilet facilities are sometimes available. It offers a nice kitchen area, kettle and milk provided. They sometimes provide pizza for staff motivation.

Cons

Plenty of them: Senior Management is the big one as they fail to deliver on their own company values! In addition: No parking onsite; Ancient systems that create errors for us Enterers; No training department to speak of in UK; No IT support on hand in the office - usually working from home and not contactable; HR seems to be purely cosmetic; Zero consistency for how staff get treated across the business; Very poor business practices and it’s just amazing it continues to generate revenue - I guess this is why the wages are so little.

Believe the bad reviews

Pros

Would you count some loaves of bread and bags of taytos as pros? Because that’s about it

Cons

Please believe the reviews about bullying, toxic clique culture, and serious damage to people’s mental health. The staff that have been there for years are all part of a clique who isolate and bully new members of staff. Management is just as bad, but senior management and HR are even worse. The turn over of staff is extremely high, probably to do with the little to no training and absolutely no support. Don’t do it to yourself, the salary is too low to endure the misery.
