    Cons

    My experience is limited to Guest Relations; Lots of turnover for tour guides, partially due to toxic work environment. Employees were frequently hired for a role, and then staffed in an entirely different capacity. Corporate seems intent to cut costs at every opportunity. After a coordinator left, instead of filling the position immediately, a new position was created where tour guides work team leads once a week, performing coordinator level duties; position is only $1 additionally per hour. Advancement does not appear to be merit based. The workplace environment is SO brutal, no one is happy to be there. Tour guides are hired for 38.5 hours a week so they can be considered part time, and until recently were only paid $11/hr. For a company which advertises itself as a great place for queer people to work, in reality, management/HR was very insensitive of LGBTQ+ issues and didn't respond to complaints about workplace harrassment/ personal safety appropriately.

    Do not say you are about diversity and reorganize the leadership to be less diverse of women and people of color. Passive aggressive and me first leadership culture must change

    The products and the people

    The leadership is awful. They have driven the bus off a cliff and thrown people under it on the way. Every major decision Gavin and his team have made has been detrimental and he has cut hard working soldiers each time to deflect blame in the eyes of share holders. This time, the heartless way that they rolled out layoffs has pushed people too far and company morale is at an all time low. As they seek to drive into the future launching countless new products, the team that is left is less motivated than ever as they just watched the company treat their team members like a number when they show them the door. Now is the time to get out if you can.
