The owner didn't seem committed to building a great company, and his lack of interest and motivation rubbed off on a lot of the senior team. There was very little interest in changing the firm or building its future.

This was one of the few companies that has a story that starts with "Once a upon a Time"..... Once upon a time, Motivate Publishing was a great place to work at with amazing company culture, supportive colleagues & a management that was fair. Resistant to change and inability to catch up with the current trends of the publishing world slowed down the growth of the company in terms of revenue. Motivate Publishing is now a company where you can consider working to just put your foot in the door as a start to a career and then move on. The company pays salary on time and other perks are offered to employees of this organization

The organization has absolutely no strategy, no professional ethics and can terminate the best and longest employee by locking the work station of the employee overnight with no explanation. Brands have characters, deep emotion...an identity. Motivate Publishing is a company that needs to be coached on branding, dignity & humanity. A once amazing company is now just a fish struggling to live out of water.

The best part about working here is that it is a friendly yet professional atmosphere. Employees motivate each other everyday and cheer for each others success. the marketing division where I worked is small but extremely good at what they do and it is always fun organising and attending events.

Since it is a local company, they still need to adopt and implement international working practices to streamline processes and have a clear vision of where the company needs to go
