    Satisfactory

    Pros

(1)Flexibility at work - does not have typical environment with hierarchy (2) Culture is amazing, young company and you can make lot of friends, looks like extended college campus (3) Lot of interesting areas - diverse fields - retail, airline, cpg, banking, finance, healthcare etc. (4) You can enroll for a number of courses within org on SAS, VBA, R, Stats, Cplex etc. and add skills

    Cons

    (1) Be prepared to say goodbye to your personal life. Slog, stretch, day night (2) They pay less compared to industry standards (3) Learn to be your boss. If not, then there are some inexperienced managers who do not know about their own career will misguide you (4) They keep shifting their office premise every other year - quite painful

    Roller coaster Ride

    Pros

#you can't get bored : With so much exciting work happening around you brain juices flow 24X7, and one feels motivated to do quality work . #belief system : One of the few companies in the world were the core belief system is embedded in how the work is being executed . # Freedom : ABSOLUTE freedom to work the way you want to .

    Cons

    # You also can't relax : You don't have time from all that exciting work to relax . So try to have fun while working # Flow of workforce : Flow is better than stock but not always . When your entire team changes within a year then there is a hole one needs to plug . #money : LESS .. very less .

Great company to learn and get challenged

Sep 17, 2015 - Associate Manager in Bangalore

    Pros

This company is a roller coaster of challenges which involves good learning. You will rarely get time to relax. Apart from regular delivery, there is always opportunity to indulge yourself in more activity leading to more learning. Great crowd and very approachable seniors

    Cons

The company is expanding really fast and in all the chaos quite a few things will fall out of focus, like appreciation being missed, deliverable quality being compromised, employees getting burnt out. Remember to be the type that will voice out concerns. The pay is for sure not appropriate for the working hours put in and hence there will be a lot of negativity on the floor especially among the juniors.

Truth vs. Hype: Not the same company anymore

Jun 16, 2015 - Associate Manager in Bangalore

    Pros

    1. Your patience level will increase beyond your imagination 2. Your tolerance level will also increase 3. You'll be able to sell anything and everything by giving any sort of random gyan 4. Will be able to talk on anything and everything without having single context and knowledge, you'll just have to talk 5. Start manging people after 6 months and you'll feel like a boss. You need not work after 6 months in the company, there will be lots of freshers whom you can bully to work

    Cons

    1. The space might be less to talk about it. 2. Alternatively you can read about Mu Sigma: Insider story on a blog called truth vs Hype. Google Truth vs hype on google and you'll get the true story 3. You'll start talking and giving random gyans 4. You'll become damn lazy 5. You'll have 101 reasons and excuses for everything and anything. 6. Worst part is all this you'll learn from the upper management and Dhiraj himself who keeps lying and lying.. He keep fooling ppl on Mu Sigma's capabilities. What is true is it hires all third grade students from colleges (who do not get placed anywhere) and then these kids talk handle clients directly.

    Business Outlook

    Pros

    - Talent is recognized early & given opportunities to flourish - Good analytical expertise - 'Impossible is nothing' attitude - Good number of marquee clients

    Cons

    - Quality of the talent hired has decreased significantly - Renumeration is either 'strictly OK' or below par - Framework used to measure employee performance has irrelevant metrics

Good for starting your career, bad for middle management roles

Aug 22, 2012 - Associate Manager in Bangalore

    Pros

Great place to work for if you are keen on leaning the nuances of business. No other company might give you the same experience pre-MBA as Mu Sigma can. The work is challenging and varied and there is plenty of flexibility in the organization if you don't wish to become a domain/industry expert. The culture is good with little hierarchy and the senior management is very approachable.

    Cons

Not a good place to join for lateral recruits. Will have to compromise on designation and salary. Middle management is the most stressed lot because of the inexperience of the lowest rungs of the workforce. Extremely taxing work hours mean that there's no work life balance. Makes it even worse if you are gunning for a quick promotion.

One heck of a roller coaster ride.. Truly worth the effort and hardwork...

    Pros

Super steep learning curve, constantly being pushed to learn and outperform yourself. Tons and tons of opportunities to grow, learn and mentor the freshers. If you show dedication, and effort, amazing opportunities will come knocking on your door - but it is not easy to show that level of commitment on an ongoing basis

    Cons

Really long working hours can hit your health at times. Leadership needs to communicate better to the lesser mortals in the system

    Pros

I worked at Mu Sigma as an associate manager for more than a year. The pros are: 1. Opportunity to work with a energetic and young crowd 2. Learning opportunity is good 3. Quality of work done in some of the projects is good

    Cons

The cons are: 1) Unrealistic deadlines are provided quite often 2) You need to stay back at office, sometimes doing meaningless work
