Great 1st job, but not for everyone

    Pros

    1. Learning rate is pretty high 2. This is a very good first job 3. In all honesty, some people do try their very best to be nice, but are limited because they report to soulless people at the top 4. The peer group and the leaders are really smart in a lot of teams and I am honestly honoured to have made their acquaintance

    Cons

    1. The things you can learn reduce after spending 3-4 years here 2. The top-level management is pretentious and insincere 3. Expanding on the first point, I honestly feel that the company and its leaders wouldn't know what to do with an experienced person. I have seen lateral hires for some teams being treated like the kids who join this company for their first job and being given similar work.

Growth wise good, exposure wise good. Management is terrible and incompetent

    Pros

Best reason to be here is the good exit opportunity, be here for 2 years and boom you will get many opportunities at other firm, the tag still holds true to some extent, ofcourse you need to work on your skills and be market ready, the tag itself will not get you job

    Cons

-Incompetent managers They only know how to sell and don't focus on delivering things to client -Micromanagement is the new trend going on especially after covid wfh scenario -The problem is all the leadership is alike, so if you have a problem, whom will you address to? That makes the working environment toxic -No peer to peer learning, and people working for a longer time will have a lot of attitude ( exceptions are there) funny thing is these people with attitude are not even technically sound My tip- just do your work, maintain a good work relation with your clients, dont get your onsite/Mgr get involved in the day to day delivery, set your own time lines and expectations with client ( it will be difficult to do this especially if you are new but strive hard to do this because it will make your life easy)
