Pros

Good benefits package, paid health insurance, decent PTO, and most holidays are employer-paid

Cons

Terrible leadership, lack of diversity and inclusiveness, lots of vagueness about company changes, silo working, unrealistic expectations of employees with little to no rewards in return, below average compensation and opportunities for promotion are non-existent, unprofessional behavior and bullying is common, absolutely no focus on mental health and work-life balance

Pros

Many great people on teams throughout the company. Good level of collaboration among problem solvers. Nice offices and some momentum toward benefit improvement. Free parking. Good snacks. Decent provisions needed for job.

Cons

Hyper political. Territorial and toxic bullying are prevalent. Lack of clear direction or vision. Little autonomy, even less trust and empowerment. Ideas or inquiries that don't match the blind mandate result in ostracizing and bullying. Very boys club/command and control.

Pros

2 free lunches a week Bonus 7 hours work/day

Cons

- No promotion despite delivering high value to the business for years - The new career ladder and system for promotion is broken. - Lack of recognition - Outdated salary - Annual salary rise was incremental and wasn't proportional to inflation - UX department gets shoestring budget - Company does not invest in it's employees. No priority for upskilling and professional development. - Management were often an intrusion to making progress - Work is too chaotic - Not transparent - During the pandemic and lockdowns for 2 years, the company made more profit but did nothing to improve the employee experience - The company is too siloed and refuses to hire BAs - Top leadership doesn't understand the value of UX - Heavy meeting culture - Company forcing employees to work from office twice a week where all work and meetings happens online. Senseless. - It's a career suicide to stay with the company for more than a couple of years - The benefits are utter useless
