Working with senior management

The directions were generally clear. Colleagues generally nice. Scope of work is wide and interesting.
Cons
Senior management is controlled by only a handful and may not be willing to listen to feedback. There is obvious favourtism and the "blue-eye" men or women get to have their ears, even if the ground gave true feedback. Some blue-eye AD had the audacity to ask for more headcount when he and his team are already very free, and dared to "lord" over the big boss. Beware of "small people" poking at your back.

Pros
Most of the people working there genuinely care for patients and want to do good. Collegial environment, and management is understanding and supportive of personal and family responsibilities. Good remuneration. Very meaningful work.
Cons
Workload can be unbalanced. If you are a good performer, you might notice that your workload is considerably higher than others who are receiving about the same pay. Plus-side is that you do eventually get recognised for your efforts by senior management, but only if your boss is able and willing to profile you well.
