Pros

They hire us from Venezuela and pay us 420 canadian dollars, it's kind of a lot of money.

Cons

-let's be honest, 420 canadian dollars won't get you anywhere, anywhere else. -being a country manager is perhaps the worst job there is in there, you're in charge of whipping the linkbuilders to squeeze numbers out just because the country manager is getting whipped him/herself. -There's no real leadership or individual team strategies, all decisions come from only one guy, and to top it all he's german and not flexible at all.

Hello, I'm Alex, head of the Content Department, which includes Country Managers. At Neuvoo we have the policy of calculating wages depending on the country where the employee works. Personally, I have always made my best to give our Venezuelan Team great opportunities and I am sure we offer extremely good salaries for the local market. We also put a lot of effort to give a good working environment with regular meetings and events (given that the country's political situation allows us). As a Country Manager you should be doing a lot more than managing Link Builders. That is only a part of the job, CM's are responsible for the quality of a country's content, for assigning new content for the indexation team and for creating strategies to increase Neuvoo's traffic in this country. If you are still in Neuvoo and are not happy at your current position, you can contact your local manager or just give me a call (if you work at Neuvoo, you know who I am and how to contact me) and I'll do my best to find a place within the organization where you can be happy and motivated. - Alex

Pros

Remote job from home, salary wasn't bad.

Cons

1.- The owners looked down at the latin-american team as inferior to the rest of the teams, we were treated with little to no respect in the way they spoke to me and my team. 2.- My manager loved to take my ideas and make them her own ideas, without giving away credit to any of the things that were implemented through my suggestions and thoughts on how to optimize processes. 3.- I wrote a few articles for neuvoo's blog, as soon as I got fired they removed my name from those articles and used someone elses's, even though I am the original author. 4.- Entire teams would get fired out of nowhere, without warnings or proper explanations. This happened to the Venezuelan and Mexican team, more than 13 employees fired at the same time without further explanation. 5.- Their database system for linkbuilding (linkly) needs improvements and better maintenance. 6.- When I was fired, they did not paid me all they money they owed me, they cut off half a month of hard work. My e-mails regarding this issue were all ignored.

Pros

Work from home. I must say when I worked here, I learned a lot. It was pretty challenging at the beginning what gives me a lot of opportunities to learn.

Cons

- You can get fired at any time without preview notice. -There's a BAAAD distribution of responsibilities, most of the time I had a lot of pending tasks while some other people was free most of the time. - One of the bosses doesn't even have a clue about how to treat/manage his employees. Has a bad attitude and he has no idea how to communicate effectively.
