What they told us in the interview was totally different from what we experienced. They keep changing their minds about what we're supposed to be doing. It's like the bosses are constantly fighting for control. Management doesn't really trust us or care about how we feel. They even told us to stay home and refrain from going to office to save on utility bills, and then they let everyone go anyway. During the layoff, HR even PRANKED people that one of them was leaving, which was insensitive af when there were folks who were actually getting laid off At one of our monthly meetings with the whole company, one co-founder openly questioned another about why need to keep tech consultants when we weren't bringing in enough money (at that point many were relatively new and they expected us to join straight away bring in big money) and if you did not then out you go

Founders are too young and doesn’t really have the right skillset and mindset to run a company. They don’t understand recruitment and just driving for numbers. And lack of empathy and not genuinely understanding on their own people. Maybe it’s a good training ground for people who wants to experience a harsh environment.
