- Management were not very good at helping with progression goals (didn’t really work with you to make a plan and didn’t seem to really care either. You really have to push it yourself and continue to push until they actually listen). They will always delay your 1 to 1 review as far as they can which is another reason why it can make you feel like they don’t care.
- Felt like they undermined me & generally didn’t value their staff.
- People would work so hard but were barely acknowledged. People would work crazy overtime to get things done yet they would only question why you worked OT to deserve the OT pay.
- Christmas parties were not good - would be located outside of London (even though there were a lot of people that were London based) & almost didn’t have a party one of the years unless one of the London staff organised it themselves (and not much acknowledgement or care shown for that)
- No structure or system in place with project management
- Management time felt stretched all the time so staff never felt prioritised (performance reviews and even just catch ups)
