      The whole system is set up on a web of lies

      1. Flexible schedule, decent projects and learning opportunities

      1. CEO is a joke, thinks he is a genius (literaly). Has title of Cheif data scientist but never wants to be involved in projects. 2. They lie to client about work force. Hire freshers and are potrayed with years of experience because 'genius' trained them 3. Total disdain for employees, you will thrive if you suck up to the top management 4. Absolute disregard for employees personal life, unscheduled calls at 6am or 11pm. Pressure to meet untenable deadlines 5. Outside interference from Directors who are not legally part of the company 6. Money rules, greed guides all decisions 7. Horrendous communication skills from CEO and senior management. Hires and interns who are not BTech, IIT are told they are second grade!

      Your feedback clearly indicates that you have personal grudge against ORMAE or it's leaders. You are insulting ORMAE & it’s leader by calling ill names and spreading lies. If you have any genuine concern, you can reach out to HR. [1] ORMAE shares profile of every employee working on client project honestly whether senior or regular. [2] We respect every employee of ours and believe in team spirit regardless of their seniority & educational background. [3] 25+ clients and 30+ employees have trusted our founder, CEO and Chief Scientist since June 2016. Therefore, he continues to personally care for each of these relations. He mentors projects undertaken by ORMAE directly and with help of senior scientists. [4] Being startup serving global clients in different time zones, we do get client calls sometimes off hours from 8:30 am to 10 pm. Our employees work from 10 am to 6:30 pm regularly along with handling client call which can happen off hours. We send online message to employees if call is before 8:30 am or after 10 pm. [5] Our priority has always been (1) doing best for the clients (2) giving best career opportunity for employees (3) Ensuring topmost quality even if growing slow quantitatively

      Best Training Ground for Operations Research in India

      1) Exposure to multiple solvers 2) Exposure to multiple domains 3) Direct client interactions 4) Best talented teams to work with 5) Opportunity to work with one of the fastest mind in the world 6) Very quick processes as it is a small organization 7) Flexible work schedules and even location 8) More importance for personal continuous improvement in Programming, Operations Research and Communication

      Cons

      1) I have had a bitter hiring experience, with compromised pay scales over the recruitment process. On employer agreements, most clauses favors company over Employee. 2) Not so employee friendly culture, majorly only work focused. but we get to learn much, so its a trade off. 3) Pay scales could be competitive

      Pros

      Good place to learn if you get assigned a good project.

      Cons

      1. If you do not get assigned a project then they will make you do courses related to programming and your domain. Learning is good but just making someone do courses for months without assigning a project is unreasonable. 2. The top management especially Mr. Garg is unprofessional in dealing with employees and clients. Especially the approach and the communication skills.
